Résumé: This study aims at exploring the relationship between personality patterns and coping strategies with psychosomatic response in a sample of health team (medical and paramedical) in some hospitals in Ouargla Province. The present study relied on the descriptive and correlative approach, and a simple random of 230 individuals (doctors and paramedics) distributed at the following hospitals (Mother and Child Hospital in Touggourt, Sliman Amirat Hospital in Touggourt and Mohammed Boudiaf Hospital in Ouargla). Data collection was also based on a three-scale battery: - Portner's character pattern (a) and (b) translation OUAAOUAA (2018) - Measuring coping strategies for paulhan translation BACHEN (1998) - Cornell list of psychosomatic disorders translation ABU NIL (2000) According to the results of psychometric examination which was reassuring by conducting the method of the statistical analysis program for the social sciences. version 20,0, and after applying the basic study Procedures, the results are concluded as the followings : 1. There is a correlation between personality patterns and coping strategies with psychosomatic response of the study sample. 2. There are differences in the level of psychosomatic disorders among the study sample. 3. The significance of the relationship between coping strategies and psychosomatic response varies according to the behavioural patterns (a) and (b). 4. Psychosomatic responses among the study sample among in which the difference is attributed to a variable (age, except for gender and occupation). 5. The strategies that predicted psychosomatic disorders on the study sample are strategies focused on the problem and on the emotion. 6. There are differences in the dimensions of the coping strategies due to the behavioural pattern of the personality. 7. There are differences in the dimensions of the Cornell scale for psychosomatic disorders due to the behavioural pattern of the personality. The findings were interpreted according to the scientific heritage and previous studies on the subject.
