إشكالية غياب المكافئ الثقافي بين اللغة المصدر واللغة الهدف من خلال بعض النماذج بين العربية والانجليزية

Résumé: إإن الاختلافات الثقافية والحضارية بين اللغات تجعل من عملية نقل بعض العناصر الثقافية عملية صعبة إن لم تكن مستحيلة لا سيما في حالة غياب المكافئ الثقافي، باعتبار أن هذه العناصر تتضمن شحنات ثقافية تقف في خلفية النص الأصلي وتحيط به، وعلى المترجم بين لغتين أن يكون ملما بخصائصهما المختلفة وبالإرث الحضاري والثقافي الذي تتكئ عليه كل منهما، وأن يترجم ليس فقط العناصر المختلفة ضمن الإطار الإبستمولوجي، بل أيضا عليه أن يترجم كل ما تختزنه اللغة من مكونات ثقافية، على أن العناصر الثقافية تختلف من مجتمع لآخر، لذا فللترجمة أهمية في التعامل معها ههنا بحذر، بوصفها المرآة التي تعكس فهم هذه العناصر واستيفاء معاييرها في اللغة الأصل، ثم تنقلها إلى المتلقي في اللغة الهدف This paper deals with some of the most problematic areas in cultural translation a translator could encounter particularly between languages which belong to completely different cultures such as in the case of English and Arabic. It is very important to mention here that the problems of translation do not so much stem from universal concepts as from the culture-specific. Since from the point of view of translation the, on one hand, " universal" concept is that which causes few problems in 'equivalence'. On the other hand, the "cultural-specific" is the concept which it is impossible to translate without a thorough knowledge of the cultures between which the transfer of meaning is to take place. This problem can only be overcome (if at all) by a knowledge of the general cultural context of such concepts and thus, through an expansion of the subject matter, i. e. a broader definition of the meaning that is to be transferred
