Résumé: الملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أعمال وجهود المستشرقين في حفظ وتحقيق التراث العربي الإسلامي، متخذة من المستشرق الألماني جوتهلف برجستراسر نموذجا وذلك بكشف منهجه في تحقيق المخطوط من خلال كتابه أصول نقد النصوص ونشر الكتب، وهو عبارة عن محاضرات ألقاها برجستراسر على طلبة الماجستير بجامعة القاهرة سنة 1931م، ولقد حضي برجستراسر بتقدير علمي في هذا المجال، محاضرات كانت مطمح أنظار جميع العلماء وعلى رأسهم الدكتور طه حسين الذي كان حريصا على حضورها، وستحاول المداخلة التعرض لمنهجه المراعي جهود سابقية ومؤسسا لمن يأتي بعده، المعتمد على ثلاثية: النسخ، النص، العمل والإصلاح في التعامل مع المخطوط موضحا الخطوات العامة والدقيقة للعمل الصحيح بطرقة يسيرة وممتعة، كما نبين قيمة الكتاب العلمية لدى المختصين بهذا العلم وثمرة جهد مؤلفه. Abstract This study aims to shed light on the works and efforts of orientalists in preserving and realizing the Arab and Islamic heritage, using the German orientalist Gotthelf Bergstraße as a model by revealing his approach to achieving the manuscript through his book The Fundamentals of Textual Criticism and Book Publishing, which is a lecture delivered by Bergstrasser to masters students at Cairo University The year 1931 AD, Bergstrasser has gained scientific appreciation in this field, lectures that were the aspiration of all scholars, headed by Dr. Taha Hussein, who was keen to attend them. Depending on the trilogy: copying, text, work and reform in dealing with the manuscript, explaining the general and precise steps for correct work in an easy and enjoyable way. We also show the scientific value of the book for specialists in this science and the fruit of its author’s effort.
