Résumé: this article aims to present the Russellian conception of the philosophy of science. It contains two parts, the first describes Russel's contributions in this field, in in order to clarify the scientific method of the philosophy of science, the nature and the characteristics of scientific knowledge and, finally, the theory of knowledge. The second part of the study will present a critical analysis of B. Russell's ideas.
