Résumé: This study aims to identify the types of managerial leadership(transformational leadership style, reciprocal leadership style, ethical leadership style, emotional intelligence leadership style) and the extent of their support for citizenship behavior in universitiesthe study sample, and the student in this study relied on the descriptive approach, and on the questionnaire as a study tool. To collect data. The study population was made up of the 12,723 employees of Algerian universities (Constantine, Ouargla, and Tlemcen), and the study sample included (378) employees. The study showed many results, including the prevalence of the transformational leadership style and the ethical leadership style, with a practice The behavior of organizational citizenship among employees is high, and the study also showed a significant impact of the transformational leadership style, the ethical leadership style, as well as the emotional intelligence leadership style on the behavior of organizational citizenship towards the individual, while there is a variation in the effect of managerial leadership styles in general on organizational citizenship behavior towards the university. . The study demonstrated that there are statistically significant differences in the direction of administrative leadership styles, which are attributed to personal variables (age, educational level), and the absence of statistically significant differences attributable to (gender, years of service). The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the average opinions of Algerian university employees towards the behavior of organizational citizenship due to personal variables (gender, age, years of service, educational level).
