Résumé: Parental involvement on children’s foreign language learning has been broadly discussed. It is a classic opened debate. According to this thesis, the family influences their children in learning a second language. This dissertation is a quantitative research based on case study and inquiry mode of interviewing some parents and teachers of kindergarteners from 4-5 at the institute of My Little World Montessori. The participants who reserved seats are all from the same country and specifically from the very same region, as well, they have the same cultural background, very different methods, ways for an additional boost, and provide aids to their kids. The four language skills were selected: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. The first thing that was given thought to is which social scale or societal group , and cultural level that parents belong to, and the gender whether the mother or the father who plays a central role in their kids educational life. There where an unexpected feedbacks, that the interviewees, mostly mothers, were committed with their children process of learning a foreign language from the start to the end, despite of few challenges that they faced. The thesis was in their favor, because most parents do not speak English, therefore, they got the chance to learn a new language by reviewing lessons with them, and searching for beneficial exercises. All of this requires teaching their kids without being taught, self-monitoring will be activated unconsciously. None of the participants, except few, where keeping the first language and English synchronously, respecting the four language skills and their understanding of the subject was limited. This made the status taken into consideration, regardless of the unawareness of their children’s fresh and spry, sharp and engaged minds all the time. Parents felt strongly to know more about bilingual activities such as reading short stories, having family speaking time at the dinner table, topics that was devoured all their kids’ minds. This was favored to kids speaking about what they had to deal with in school using English language. In addition to V that, it is well known that kids like listening to songs that parents sing, or a bedtime story that is told every night. This thesis guides parents to handle their bilingual children that are raised in one area, also the importance of a positive attitude when teaching an additional language.
