Résumé: تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة دور اللّعب في تنمية اللغة الشفهية (الفهم والإنتاج) عند المعاقين عقليا درجة خفيفة ومتوسطة، تم إجراء الدراسة على (6 حالات) من الأطفال المعاقين عقليا اختيروا بطريقة قصدية، واستخدمنا المنهج الوصفي دراسة مقارنة، واستعنا بالأدوات التالية (المقابلة و الملاحظة ، الاختبارات "اختبار الذكاء لإجلال يسرى ، اختبار المهارات اللغوية للباحثة لخرباش هدى يقيس التمييز والفهم والتعبير، وأنشطة اللّعب المستعملة في المركز البيداغوجي )، توصلت النتائج إلى انه يوجد فروق بين الحالات التي مارست اللّعب والتي لم تمارس اللعب في الجانب اللغوي (الفهم والإنتاج) لصالح الحالات التي مارست اللعب،وتوصلت إلى أن للّعب دور في تنمية اللغة الشفهية (الفهم والإنتاج) لدى لمعاقين عقليا درجة خفيفة ومتوسطة. objectives of the study and to know the role of play in the development of oral language (comprehension and production) in mild and moderate mentally handicapped people, The study was carried out on (6 cases) of intentionally chosen mentally handicapped children. We used the descriptive comparative study method, and for this we used the following tools: (interview and observation, Tests "Yusra's tribute intelligence test, and researcher Kharbash Huda's language skills test, measures discrimination, comprehension and expression, and playful activities used in the educational center). After collecting the results and processing them statistically, it was concluded that there are differences between the cases not practicing the games and the cases who practiced the games in the linguistic aspe (comprehension and production) in favor of the cases. who played, and we conclude that play also has a role in the development of oral language (comprehension and production) for the mild and moderate mentally handicapped.
