Analyse Sémantique Des Prépositions Dans Le Discours Mathématique, Le Cas Des Corpus Mathématiques À L’université

Résumé: La présente thèse présente un travail traitant de sémantique spécialisée. En effet, elle prend pour objectif d’essayer de définir le décalage sémantique des prépositions dans le discours mathématique. Pour atteindre cet objectif nous avons opté pour une méthodologie qui puise directement dans les théories proposant une explication des phénomènes sémantiques dans la langue générale, prise comme jalon comparatif pour notre étude, ensuite dans les théories qui proposent une explication de ces phénomènes dans le discours spécialisé. Nous avons enchainé ensuite sur le traitement d’un corpus universitaire lié à notre choix de sujet, à savoir, la sémantique des prépositions dans le discours mathématique. Plusieurs raisons de ce choix ce sont présenté à nous avant d’entamer cette thèse. Parmi elles, l’intérêt linguistique des tournures sémantiques de notre objet d’étude, les prépositions, dans le discours scientifique et l’intérêt universitaires d’une telle étude ; autrement dit le constat sémantique de notre étude qui permettrait une appréhension du discours mathématique dans son utilisation des prépositions. D’autres raisons, cependant secondaires, ont stimulé notre intérêt pour cette recherche, comme les nuance des représentations du réel dans la langue générale et dans le discours mathématique. Après la partie traitement qui constitue le noyau dur de notre étude, nous avons fini par aboutir à des résultats qui étaient d’ores et déjà confirmés par les théories traitant des langues spécialisées ; une hyperspécialisation du sens des prépositions dans le discours mathématique. Ce résultat nous a mené à nous demander si l’utilisation des prépositions dans le discours mathématique n’est pas seulement que symbolique au même titre que les schémas et les symboles. Nous avons étayé cela par certaines preuves modestes qui nous mettent au moins sur cette piste. Nous avons fini cette thèse par une petite perspective de recherche sémantique qui est le décalage du discours mathématique dans son intégralité dont les prépositions furent preuves en elle-même, et encore plus décalé que d’autres discours scientifiques. C’est peut-être un cas d’inspiration de la langue général très latéral ; autrement dit qui présente une asymétrie importante par rapport au discours général. This thesis presents work addressing specialized semantics. Indeed, it takes target at trying to define the semantics of prepositions gap in mathematical discourse. To achieve this objective we have chosen a methodology that draws directly into the theories offering an explanation of semantic phenomena in general language, taken as a milestone for our comparative study, then in the theories that offer an explanation of these phenomena in specialized discourse. We then continued on the treatment of a university corpus connected to our choice of subject, namely, the semantics of prepositions in a mathematical discourse. Several reasons for this choice were presented to us before starting this thesis. Among them, the linguistic semantic transformations of our study object, prepositions, in scientific discourse and the academic benefit of this study; the results of our study which would allow for understanding of mathematical discourse in its use of prepositions. Other reasons, though secondary, stimulated our interest in this research, such as the hue of representation of reality in general language and mathematical discourse. After the processing part which constitutes the core of our study, we have produced results that were already confirmed by the theories treating of specialized language; a specialization of semantic of prepositions in mathematical discourse. This has asked a question: Does the use of prepositions in mathematical discourse not only symbolic as well as patterns and symbols? We have substantiate this with some modest evidences that put us at least on this orientation. We finished this thesis by a small semantic research perspective, the offset of mathematical discourse in its entirety, prepositions were the evidence of this, and more offbeat other scientific discourse.
