فاعلية برنامج إرشادي في تنمية القدرة على اتخاذ القرار الدراسي لدى تلاميذ السنة الرابعة متوسط بمدينة الوادي

Résumé: The problem of the current study focuses on the importance of counseling interventions in the school environment in helping pupils to make their scholar and vocational decisions on objective basis under the scholar guidance procedures in Algeria. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the proposed counseling program in developing the scholar and vocational decision-making capacity , by using the experimental method on a sample of fourth year middle school pupils in El-Oued city which consists of 28 one. The sample is divided equally into two groups: experimental (14 pupils) and control (14 pupils) have been chosen from the pupils of Tir Hocine middle school in El –Oued city. In order to achieve the study's objectives, a counseling program was designed for developing the scholar decision-making capacity. It included 12 sessions and applied one session per a week on the experimental group. The scholar decision-making scale was also prepared, after its psychometric characteristics confirmation was applied to the experimental and control groups before and after the program's application, as it was applied to the experimental one after the follow-up period. By using the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and the T-test to indicate the differences, the study's results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed counseling program in the development of the scholar decision-making capacity of the fourth year middle school pupils, as confirm the continuity of the program's effectiveness after one month of its application. In the light of these results, the study emphasizes the importance of the psycho-pedagogic care for pupils to develop their scholar and vocational decision- making capacity and help them to build mature future projects through the scholar counseling programs.
