Résumé: تَدور هذه الدّراسة حول مدينة وهران التاريخية التي أسّست عام 290ه، خلال العصور الوسطى والتي تعدّ مدينة هامّة ضمن مُدن البحر الأبيض المتوسط، فقد كانت محورا للتبادل التجاري بين ضفتي البحر، كما تحوّلت إلى حاضرة ثقافية هامة ضمن مدن المغرب الأوسط، فأهميّتها السياسية والاقتصادية والعلمية ظلّت تزداد من فترة لأخرى، وعلى مرّ التاريخ كانت وهران محلّ اهتمام الملوك والسلاطين والقوى السياسية التي حكمت المغرب الإسلامي لاعتبارات استراتيجية واقتصادية ونظرا لأهميّتها فقد زارها الرحّالة والجغرافيون وكتبوا عنها واعجبوا بها وبسكانها وعُمرانها، كما كانت قِبلة لأهل العلم والثقافة وزارها العلماء والفقهاء والمتصوفة، وبذلك تحولت هذه المدينة إلى مركز إشعاع فكري وعلمي في المغرب الأوسط. This study talks about the historical city of Oran, which was founded in 290 AH / 902 AD, during the middle Ages, and which is an important city within the Mediterranean cities. It was a hub for commercial exchange between the two shores of the Mediterranean, and it also turned into an important cultural metropolis within the Middle Maghreb cities. Its political, economic and scientific importance continued to increase from one period to another, and throughout history Oran was the focus of interest for kings, sultans and political forces that destroyed the Islamic Maghreb for strategic and economic considerations. Due to its importance, travelers and geographers visited it, admired it and wrote a lot about it. With its architecture, its inhabitants and its surroundings, it was also a destination for people of knowledge and culture, and was visited by scholars, jurists and Sufis. Thus, this city turned into a center of scientific and intellectual radiation in the Middle Maghreb.
