Résumé: This studey tackles the divan of the Mohamed Al-halwey under amethe name autumn leaves and it aims to analyzing and explaining the metaphor. We had started investigation with a theortical valuation which we dofine the metaphor and similie since they are interrelated then the identificqtion of the metaphor’s parts so as to pick out all the metaphors existing in the divan to analyze them and show the logical part of it in the partical side. At the end we had reached that the poet has depended on his reality without the use of the over imagination in his image.
