Résumé: Summary: In this article we examine the analysis of the variable of higher education and its role in development by referring to its concepts and the concepts of development. We also emphasized the general and special objectives of higher education in the service of the individual and society on the one hand and the promotion of development on the other hand. In this article, we also discussed the most important theoretical approaches about the role and relationship of higher education in development and the attempt to highlight this relationship and its role through their economic, social, cultural and other approaches.
