Résumé: The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between the teaching competencies of physical education professors; sports and the motivation of students towards the school physical and sporting activities at phase of secondary school education, The study also aimed to find out the degree of teachers Who obtain a teaching competencies and to determine the relationship between professional experience and gender In terms of competencies level, In order to Achieve this aim the researcher used the descriptive method with selecting randmoly as a sample, which included (400 ) student ( female ) and (30 ) teachers at the secondary school education in the county of tenes – chlef state. the researcher used two tools to collect the information: the observation the teaching competencies cards, which contained(03) dimensions and (30) terms , and measure of motivation toward Practice the school physical and sporting activity , which contains (06 ) dimensions and (48 ) terms were prepared by the researcher, the researcher used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to process the data statistically and analyze the results. The results of the study showed that there are differences of motivation between students (female ) to Practice the school physical and sporting activity resulting from the variable of teaching competencies of the professor (high, medium) . - The teachers of physical education and sports have a high degree of teaching competencies. - There are no differences in teaching competencies between teachers For a variable of gender. - There are differences in teaching competencies due to the variable of professional experience.
