Résumé: يمارس الجيش الوطني الشعبي دوره في حماية الأمن القومي الجزائري انطلاقا من مرجعية دستورية تحدد مهامه الأساسية. وحماية الأمن القومي في بعده العسكري يرتبط بالدفاع الوطني الذي يفرض على الجيش العمل من أجل مواجهة التهديدات الأمنية على المستوى الوطني و الإقليمي و الدولي. The People's National Army exercises its role in protecting Algerian national security, based on a constitutional reference that defines its basic tasks. And protecting national security in its military dimension is related to national defense, which compels the army to work in order to confront security threats at the national, regional and international levels.
