Résumé: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم تصور إقتصادي لمنظمة إتحاد المغرب العربي من منظور وظيفي جديد، وذلك من خلال تحديد الإطار المفاهيمي لعملية التكامل الإقتصادي، وتحليل الأسس النظرية للمقاربة الوظيفية الجديدة في تفسير التكامل، وكذا تحليل السياق التأسيسي لإتحاد المغرب العربي، وصولا إلى تحليل أهداف إتحاد المغرب العربي من منظور الوظيفية الجديدة. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أنه على الرغم من تنوع الأهداف المتضمنة في المعاهدة المنشأة لإتحاد المغرب العربي على الصعيد الإقتصادي من خلال المعاهدات والإتفاقيات المتبادلة بين الدول المغاربية، إلا أن التجسيد العملي لهذه الأهداف لم يكن بالصورة المنتظرة، بالنظر للعديد من الصعوبات والمعيقات التي أدت إلى فشل وعدم فعالية المنظمة ككل.

The study concluded that despite the diversity of objectives contained in the establishing treating of the Maghreb Union on the economic level through treaties and agreements exchanged between the Maghreb countries

but at the practical levels of these goals was not the image expected

cause many difficulties and obstacles that have led to the failure and lack of the effectiveness of the organization as a whole.
