النقد المنهجي لعلم التاريخ في العصر الأيوبي في دراسات المستشرق هاملتون ﮔب

Résumé: المستخلص مثلت دراسة المستشرق البريطاني هاملتن الكسندر روسكين ﮔب Hamilion A.R Gibb(1895-1974) لموضوع (علم التاريخ) إحدى الانعطافات الاستشراقية المهمة في موضوع تطور الكتابات التاريخية عند المؤرخين المسلمين في عهد الدولة الأيوبية. إذ استطاع هذا المستشرق بحث مسار تطور علم التاريخ في عهد الأيوبيين من خلال بعض الدراسات، استعرض فيها جهود ابرز المؤرخين المسلمين ممن لمعت أسماؤهم في عهد الدولة الأيوبية، وحاول هاملتن ﮔب - وهو المعروف بكونه من أكثر مستشرقي جيله حيادية وموضوعية في الدراسات العربية - صياغة منهج موضوعي في دراسة تطور علم التاريخ في الدولة الأيوبية، عدَّ من أهم ما قدمته المدرسة الاستشراقية البريطانية. Abstract The study by the British Orientalist, Hamilion AR Gibb (1895-1974) of the science of history represents one of the significant turning points in the evolution of historical writings of Muslim historians during the reign of the Ayyubid state. Gibb researched the development of the science of history in the Ayyubid reign through some studies. He reviewed the efforts of the most prominent Muslim historians during the reign of the Ayybid state. Being one of the most moderate and objective among the Orientalists in his generation, Gibb tried to formulate an objective approach to the study of the evolution of the science of history in the Ayyubid state, which is regarded as the most important contribution by the British Orientalist school.
