Résumé: This paper aims to demonstrate the significance of scientific research and higher education institutions in the advancement of the tourism sector in Algeria. illustrate the contributions of these institutions as a component of the sector's development, with a particular focus on the training of human resources for the tourism industry. The objectives of the study were achieved through the implementation of a case study of the Higher School of Hospitality and Catering Algeria (ESHRA). The conclusions and recommendations most notable were that the institution serves as a model for scientific research and higher education institutions, offering curricula that align with the dynamics of the tourism sector.
