Résumé: The assessment of the enterprises lies at the heart of the financial institution since it aims at giving a value or a set of values to the firms relying on a range of different methods ( method of financial disclosure, method of flows approach, method of surplus value( Good Will), methods that rely on the stock market). The obtained values will be used as an essential tool in the process of transfer nof ownership ( privatization) ;or the process of integration between two or more enterprises or to stimulate the financial investors to demand for the financial tools traded in the stock market. In this article, we will try to address the importance of the Algerian stock exchange in assessing the institutions listed on the one hand, and on the other hand, we will tackle the various ways and approaches that can be used in this field
