دور الوقف في النهضة العلمية والثقافية - قراءة في التجربتين الإسلامية والغربية

Résumé: العلم عماد نهضة الأمم، وأساس تطور الحضارات الإنسانية وتقدمها، وهو السبيل إلى كل رقي وازدهار في جميع المجالات، وإذا تم توظيف إمكانات الوقف لخدمة العلم والتعليم تحققت معادلة التنمية كما تصبو إليها الأمم، لذلك وجب تفعيل دور الوقف والعمل الخيري في نهضة علمية وثقافية شاملة من خلال استلهام الخبرات الإنسانية في تراكماتها التاريخية، لاسيما التجربة الإسلامية؛ التي طبع فيها الوقف العلمي الحياة الثقافية والروحية والاجتماعية للمجتمعات الإسلامية قرون عديدة فكان مصدراً لكل إشعاع فكري أو إنجاز علمي، برزت من خلاله حضارة المسلمين على الحضارات الإنسانية الأخرى؛ من خلال الاستفادة من التجارب الغربية التي استنسخت الوقف في مضمونه الإسلامي في صيغ ونماذج تشبه الوقف أو تقترب من مفهومه فكرا وتطبيقا؛ لتطوره وتجعل منه مؤسسات مانحة ومراكز بحث وإشعاع علمي وجامعات وقفية؛ أنشأت من منطلق الصدقة الجارية وإن اختلفت الرؤى والغايات والأهداف حتى سادت وتفوقت على تجربة الوقف العلمي في الفكر الإسلامي وصولا إلى نهضة علمية وثقافية مستدامة. Science is the pillar of nations’ renaissance; it is the basis of the development and progress of civilizations, and the path to any advancement and prosperity in all fields. If the endowment potentials are used to serve science and education, we will surely arrive to the development aimed by nations. For that reason, it is important to strengthen the role of endowment and charity work in a global culture and scientific Renaissance throughout inspiration from human historical experiences, especially the Islamic experience, where the scientific endowment had marked the cultural, spiritual and social life of Islamic societies for many centuries. It was a source of every intellectual enlightenment or scientific achievement, where the Islamic civilization had emerged and shone more than any other civilization, by benefiting from the western experiences that copied the endowment in its Islamic meaning into formulas and methods resembling its idea. Later on they developed it into donor institutions, research and scientific enlightenment centres and endowment universities, which are all established from the idea of free handouts even if the opinions and goals differ, until it dominated and over passed the scientific endowment experience in the Islamic though, where it reached a sustainable scientific and cultural development.
