Résumé: لم يتوقف التطور في مجال المعلوماتية على الجانب التقني بل امتد ليشمل تأثيرها على خصوصيات الإنسان وحقه في التمتع بحياته الخاصة، لاسيما مع زيادة مجال استخدام الحواسيب والانترنت في المؤسسات العمومية والخاصة في إطار المعالجة الآلية للمعطيات الشخصية كرقم البطاقة الوطنية أو المعطيات الصحية أو الجينية، مما ازدادت معه مخاوف الاعتداءات على هذه المعطيات، الأمر الذي تطلب تبني المشرع الجزائري إطار حمائي من خلال إصداره قانون حماية الأشخاص الطبيعيين في مجال معالجة المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي رقم (07-18).
