Résumé: ملخص: هذه دراسة تقوم بمساءلةً تاريخيةَ عميقة عن سبب الغياب الأنثوي في المشهد الصوفي بغض النظر عن كونه ظاهرة تلتبس بُعدًا دينيا أو تتمثل في جنوح إنساني خالص. وهي تندرج بشكل جمالي في سياق الفرق بين التصوف كممارسة طقوسية وممارسة إبداعية تجعلنا في حيرة وتساؤل عن حقيقة التمثلات الأنثوية في كل هذه الممارسات، رغم أنها كأنثى صنو الرجل في كل شيء؟ وهي دراسة ذات منهج تاريخي استقرائي، تبحث في البعد الإنساني للتصوف أساسا ومن ثم تحاول تخصيص هذا البعد باتجاه جنسانية التصوف بما هو ذكوري أو أنثوي، لتتحدث عن تاريخ التصوف النسوي سلوكيا وإبداعيا والأسباب الذاتية التي جعلت المشهد الصوفي يتميز بهذا البعد التجنيسي المحير قليلا، والذي قد يدفع بالبحث الصوفي نحو اتجاهات جديدة فيه. الكلمات المفتاحية: تصوف، أنثى، جنسوية، سلوك، طقس. Abstract: This article is an inquiry into The Human dimensions of Sufism and the nature of the female mystic in Sufi experience. This study tries to reorient the focus back onto the originary function of mystical experience underpinning Sufism as opposed to seeing Sufi women as an issue pertaining to gender. It considers this experience in the general sense with regard to the Sufi tradition, and also masculine mysticism, this article primarily draws on examples from the classical period of Female Sufi history. The topic of ‘woman’ in Sufism (and Islam, generally) typically depicts that which is paradoxical in nature because what is seen is easily confused with what remains essentially true about the mystical. The question of gender is only superficially relevant as it pertains to social and cultural differences in relation to notions about sex, whereas, if we ask about the female mystic, we are dealing with that which is more fundamental as a condition of being in a mystical state.
