Résumé: The study aims to try to know the levels of professional pressure and levels of achievement motivation among professors of the Institute of Science and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities at the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla, and to show the type and nature of the relationship between professional pressures and achievement motivation among professors of the Institute of Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities at the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla; The study approach was represented in the descriptive approach, and the comprehensive survey of the study community was made of (28) university professors from the Institute of Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities, Ouargla, To collect field data and information, the occupational stress scale and the achievement motivation scale were used. The study concluded that the level of occupational stress among the professors of the Institute of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities of Ouargla is characterized by a low degree, and that the level of achievement motivation among the professors of the Institute of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities of Ouargla is characterized by a high degree. There is no correlation between the levels of occupational stress and the achievement motivation of the professors of the Institute of Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities, Ouargla, and one of the proposals of this study is to provide conditions of psychological and professional comfort for the university professor to contribute to the development of his competencies and increase his achievement motivation.
