Résumé: This study aimed at reveal the relationship between mindfulness and emotional intelligence. It also aimed to knowthe relationship between the dimensions of alertness and emotional intelligence among third-year secondary students in the secondary schools of Sidi Khouiled - Ouargla. To achieve the objectives of the study, the correlational approach was used, and to collect data, each From the " mindfulness " scale prepared by "Pierre et al., Arabized by Muhammad Al-Sayed and others 2016", and the "emotional intelligence" scale prepared by "Ben Amour Jamila 2017" on a sample of (80) students from the third year of high school, and the results have been reached next: 1. The level of mindfulness among third year secondary school students is middle. 2. The level of emotional intelligence among third year secondary school students is high. 3. There is a correlation between mindfulness and emotional intelligence among third year secondary school students. 4. There is a correlation between each of the two dimensions: (description, dealing with awareness) and emotional intelligence among third-year secondary school students. 5. There is no correlation between each of the two dimensions (observation, non-reaction) and emotional intelligence among third year secondary school students.
