Importance Et Utilisation Des Produits Et Sous- Produit Du Palmier Dattier En Médecine Traditionnelle Dans La Wilaya D’adrar Cas
Résumé: In the Saharan regions, the use of date palm products is of great importance in the lives of the populations. In this study, we carried out through field surveys in the localities of Aoulef, Zaouitekonta and the city of Adrar to determine and analyze the use of date palm products and by-products in these localities. This study allowed us to identify the following results: Traditional medicine is still used especially among the elderly and housewives, but these uses are threatened with extinction for socio-economic reasons. Pollen and dates are the products most used in therapy. The use of these therapies is often for economic reasons and for their effectiveness. The palm by-products are used for: diarrhea, constipation, sterility,nose bleeds,anemia… These treatments appear to be effective, but there are preparations that are not very common. Valorization of these products requires intersectoral participation, through development and awareness-raising projects on the importance of conserving the genetic diversity of the date palm.
