Neologism In Arabic And English Translation Case Study Master One Students At The English Department Of Tiaret.
Résumé: This research study examines the proficiency of English as a foreign language (EFL) student in utilizing English neologisms, which are newly created words that emerge in a language. The objective is to assess the competence of EFL students in understanding and incorporating this linguistic novelty into their English communication and production. A mixed-methods approach was employed to gather data from master one students, evaluating their familiarity, comprehension, and accurate usage of neologisms. The findings contribute to our understanding of how EFL students adapt to the constantly evolving language. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of effective teaching strategies and pedagogical implications. By integrating neologisms into instruction, educators can enhance students' language proficiency and prepare them for real-world communication. This research sheds light on the dynamic nature of language and provides insights for educators seeking to optimize language learning outcomes.
