Résumé: This study aims to identify the role of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in achieving the strategic vigilance of the enterprise in its four dimensions (competitive vigilance, technological vigilance, commercial vigilance, environmental vigilance) at the level of both the SIDER Al-Hajar Iron and Steel Complex and Condor Corporation, in addition to shedding light on the The reality of both of these systems at the level of these two enterprise through a sample of 565 frameworks from the two enterprise using the questionnaire as a tool for the study and the descriptive analytical method as its method. The study reached a medium and statistically ignificant degree for the role of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in achieving strategic vigilance in close proportions according to the four dimensions of the latter, and that the link between this system and strategic vigilance is done indirectly, and the good use of this system in the field of Vigilance requires great capabilities, on top of which is the need to keep pace with major developments in information systems in order to facilitate and enhance the transition from operational to strategic directions. The study also showed the two enterprise interest in the environmental dimension and considering it a priority. In light of the findings of the study, a set of suggestions were developed, the most important of which is the need to comprehensively generalize the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at the level of the SIDER Al-Hajjar Iron and Steel complex, and to give greater importance to the concept of strategic vigilance at the level of this complex, as well as, to a lesser extent, at the level of Condor Corporation. As well as the need for the state to encourage institutions to adopt both the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and strategic vigilance systems due to the many advantages they provide, and to overcome the various difficulties and obstacles that prevent achieving the good results desired from their adoption
