The Symbolic Violence On Facebook Pages: “a Semiological Study”

Résumé: This research paper aims to explore the manifestations of symbolic violence that are iconically rooted in the dynamics of virtual public space in its images laden with the symbolism of hostility and provoking motives of moral frustration. Through publishing linked to the Facebook platform, according to a set of exceptional variants of the synchronous communication technology based on digital images (Web 0.2). This is what prompted us to analyze the phenomenon semiotically by looking at its representations and its discursive field on two levels: the first is explicit; This is evident in the aesthetics of its presentation and the nature of its topics, and the second is implicitly represented by: In its ideological and semantic dimensions, in conjunction with extrapolating its effects and incentives for its localization in the social system.
