Contribution À L’étude De La Valorisation Énergétique Des Fruits De Balanites Aegyptiaca Dans La Région D’adrar

Résumé: This work is part of the diversification of renewable energy sources such as biomass. In this research, we focused on the valuation of the fruits of the desert date palm (Balanites aegyptiaca), this material not valued in Algeria until now, for this, we have chosen this material as a substrate for anaerobic fermentation for the production of Bioethanol, a product with high added value. Where we studied the physicochemical and biochemical properties of this material, which allow it to be a recoverable material for the production of bioethanol, as well as the techniques adopted to achieve the best results in terms of bioethanol quality. The results of the morphological analyzes of the fruits of the desert date palm show that the pulp represents 56.48% of the fruit, a very interesting percentage for carrying out this work. It presents the part that can be used in the fermentation process to produce alcohol. The physicochemical results of the raw material show that the fruit of the desert date palm is a substrate rich in sugar 59.47% total sugars and 32.04% reducing sugar, which are essential elements for alcoholic fermentation. The results showed that the 1/4 dilution (g / mL) is a better dilution; which gives 30% bioethanol, 125g of fruit gives 30ml of bioethanol at 90 ° concentration; The final characteristics are acceptable compared to commercial ethanol.
