Résumé: Summay : The research Title : The Relationship between Self-teaching and Creative Thinking among 3rd year, Upper Secondary School Students. The Research Problem Studying the relationship between self-teaching and creative Thinking among 3rd year, upper secondary school students. The Research Hypothesis General Hypothesis: There is a positive relationship between self-teaching and creative thinking among 3rd year, upper secondary school students. Sub Hypothesis 1. There are statistical differences considering the degree of self-teaching among 3rd year, upper secondary school students because of the gender variable. 2. There are statistical differences considering the creative thinking among 3rd year, upper secondary school students because of the gender variable. 3. There are differences considering self-teaching among 3rd year upper secondary school students because of their level of creative thinking (high, average or low). The Research Purposes 1. To study the nature of the relationship that links self-teaching and creative thinking among 3rd year upper secondary school students. 2. To study the statistical differences considering the degree of self-teaching among 3rd year, upper secondary school students because of the gender variable. 3. To study the differences considering self-teaching among 3rd year upper secondary school students because of their level of creative thinking (high, average or low). The Reserch Methodology The research approach that was adapted in the present study is the narrative descriptive approach. The Research Sample The sample of the study was a total of 200 female and male 3rd year students of Ben Aleya Yahea and Yesbaa Yahea and Saad upper secondary schools. The Research Tools 1. Abou Zeid's creative thinking scale to test fluency, flexibility and uniqness. 2. The strategic organised self teaching scale, translated by Ezzat Abdul Hamid. The Main Statistical Tools Used 1. SMA 3. Correlation Coefficient. 4. "T" test to scale the gender differences. 5. One way analysis for the 3rd hypothesis. Research Results 1. There is a strong positive relationship between self-teaching and creative thinking among 3rd year, upper secondary school students. 2. Male upper secondary school students out performed female ones in self-teaching. 3. No statistical differences was founded in creative thinking among upper secondary school students. 4. There are differences considering self teaching among upper secondary school students due to their level of creative thinking: high, average and low.
