The Incorporation Of English In Algerian Higher Education: Technopedagogical Innovation Versus Linguistic Competition.

Résumé: In the context of the increasing internationalization of higher education, learning English has become essential for the professional development of young Algerian researchers. This study examines, through a quantitative approach, the effectiveness of e-learning in doctoral training to enhance English proficiency and foster doctoral students' autonomy in language learning. The findings reveal that, while innovative, e-learning alone is not a universal solution. Its limitations often stem from a lack of interactivity and engagement. To address these challenges, the study recommends adopting the flipped classroom model, which promotes active and collaborative learning. This methodological shift could optimize the use of digital tools and better meet the needs of doctoral students.
