Résumé: The model of consociational democracy as a model for political stability and alleviation of internal conflicts in heterogeneous and multi-social societies that may lead to the collapse and disintegration of the state because of the inability of the political system to absorb all these components and involve them in the political process and decision-making Through this study, the Lebanese experience in consensual democracy was exposed in 1943 through the National Charter. It was ratified by the 1989 Taif Accord, which involved all the various sects and sects in the Lebanese society, which contributed to the political stability of the country in stages and caused instability in other stages.
