Résumé: The study aims to reveal the relationship of professional pressures and achievement motivation among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla, by asking the following questions: - Is there a statistically significant relationship between professional pressures and achievement motivation among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla? - Are there statistically significant differences in the occupational pressures of the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience)? - Are there statistically significant differences in the motivation for achievement among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience)? Based on the questions raised, the following hypotheses were put forward: - There is a statistically significant relationship between professional pressures and achievement motivation among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla. - There are statistically significant differences in the occupational pressures of the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla, according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience). - There are statistically significant differences in the achievement motivation among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla, according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience). In the current study, we relied on the correlative descriptive approach. We also relied on collecting information on the professional stress scale and the achievement motivation scale on a random sample of 90 civil protection employees,Statistical treatment of the study results was done by Pearson correlation coefficient, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test for significance of differences, and the following results were reached: - There is a statistically significant relationship between professional pressures and achievement motivation among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla. - There are no statistically significant differences in the occupational pressures of the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla, according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience). - There are no statistically significant differences in the motivation for achievement among the employees of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Ouargla, according to the following variables (age, marital status, years of experience).
