Résumé: يبين مضمون القانون رقم 18-07 المتعلق حماية للأشخاص الطبيعيين في مجال المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي المبادئ الأساسية لحماية المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي، ويحدد حقوق المعني بالمعطيات الشخصية التي تكون محل المعالجة، كما يحدد التزامات المسؤول عن هذه المعالجة، بالإضافة إلى الأحكام الإدارية والجزائية وهذا بهدف حماية الأشخاص الطبيعيين في مجال المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي. إن إقرار إنشاء السلطة الوطنية لحماية المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي إحدى أهم الآليات للحد من الفوضى التي سادت مجال استغلال المعطيات الشخصية للأشخاص الطبيعيين وضمانة أساسية لحماية البيانات الشخصية كما تضمن عدم المساس بالحياة الخاصة.
