The study examines the situation of journalists who, during an armed conflict, engage in a dangerous professional mission. They are among the civilians who are particularly vulnerable to violence, which often leads to injury and death. Despite the current protections that international humanitarian law provides to journalists as civilians, the scenario of armed conflict is each time more dangerous and deadly for journalists. Therefore, the proposal for the internationally recognized distinctive emblem is not a new issue, but it has acquired new significance with the press logo campaign and the new proposal for the distinctive emblem. Therefore, this article seeks to analyze all proposals for a journalist's logo and discuss the potential and threats to adopt such an emblem.
