Extraction Et Caractérisation De L’huile Essentielle De La Plante Aromatique Citronnelle De La Région D’ouargla
Résumé: This work is mainly based on a characterization study of essential oil of the Lemongrass plant, grown in the region of Hassi Miloud-Ouargla. The Lemongrass plant also known as Cymbopogon citratus, the oil of this popular plant in aromatherapy and its various uses and properties in different fields (pharmaceutical, cosmetic and medical). The essential oil extraction carried out by hydrodistillation gave a yield of 0.41. The results of the physico-chemical analyze of the essential oil are compliant with AFNOR standards. The essential oils are, analyzed by GC/MS, the results showed the presence of Citral as chemotype which finds the active substance responsible for the effectiveness of this oil.
