تجربة ترجمة النصوص الطبية من الإنجليزية إلى العربية في العالم العربي من أين وإلى أين؟

Résumé: أحيانا لا يتسنى للقارئ العربي الذي لا يجيد اللغات الأجنبية أن يجد ضالته في الكتب الطبية المترجمة إلى العربية، فمن هذا المنطلق تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى النظر في هذا الموضوع من زاوية تقييمية لتجربة ترجمة النصوص الطبية من الانجليزية إلى العربية على وجه الخصوص؛ وذلك من خلال استكشاف أهم العقبات التي تستوقف مسار هذه العملية وتساهم في رسم معالم هذا الوقع مثل : نقص عدد المترجمين المتخصصين في الترجمة الطبية؛ عدم التمكن من إشاعة المعلومة الطبية بالعربية ؛ وأخيرًا عدم التمكن مواكبة ترجمة المصطلحات الطبية وتوحيدها. Sometimes, an Arab reader who is not fluent in foreign languages cannot meet his knowledge needs related to his health, when he resorts to reading medical texts translated into Arabic. Therefore, this study attempts to evaluate the experience of translating medical texts from English into Arabic in particular. By addressing the most important obstacles to the translation process in the Arab world that contribute to this reality such as: the lack of translators specializing in medical translation; the inability to spread medical information in Arabic; and not being able to keep up with the translation and the standardization of medical terms.
